LEADERSHIP ROUNDTABLES

Purpose

The purpose of Roundtables is to promote leadership in the disability sector by stimulating dialogue on Leadership and significant socio-political, economic and cultural issues.

The Objectives of Leadership Roundtables

• To improve leadership in the disability sector by discussing significant socio-political, economic and cultural issues.
• To utilise the skills of leaders with a disability who have undertaken a Leadership Plus program to run the Roundtables.
• To broaden the Roundtable audience to include people without disabilities in the broader community.
• To enhance the civic participation of people with disabilities through education and discussion.

Leadership Plus holds three Roundtables annually on different themes and advertises these event via the website and community networks.
